I thought the performance was very distasteful for tv. I think he blew it for alot of fans. I was a fan , but even the song was not appealing. When someone has an amazing voice such a waste. I do not care about the defense about he was trying to show it is okay for men to act that way. I think many women are in the same category as him, trashy. I am amazed they can even call it entertainment. I think it is great to be who you are but not over the top. He got what he wanted that was publicity
