What Market? Its six months or so since I bought my HTC Magic and STILL there is no access to paid apps in Norway :(
However there are many excellent free apps! I feel sorry for the paid app developers.
SlideME has a much better interface, but my #1 complaint is that developers can't give proper rebuttals to user complaints, you should be able to comment on comments. Also, you should be able to see your comments from within the developers console.
Descriptions are worthless--I pass on many apps because I don't know what they DO. It seems there are so few apps that are useful, unlike the Apple apps. When I had an iPhone, I had probably 50 apps and I was reigning it in. On Android I have less than 15, and I'm constantly searching for more and hoping for new apps to match my previous apps. I would like to see more quality apps.
The descriptions are inadequate. There is no way to sort by stars or length or most downloaded or anything else. There should be an online presence to allow one to view on a computer with a larger screen to make finding and choosing easier.
