I am late posting my comments but I see I was not wrong. Mya should have won this contest. DOnnie was laughing with Bruno like help me with some votes. Donnie was nothing but a con artist because his dancing skills were not good. He should have gone home weeks before. How can he look at the trophy knowing he lost to Mya. He supposed to be religious. He need to give the prize to Mya . I will never watch again because it is rigged.

I will keep watching, but I sure wish they would pick only stars that have no dance experience. It would make the competition much more fair. I do wish Bruno would tone down his over the top behaviors. Really getting sickening and many times not even appropriate for a family show.

Dudes, it's really an ENTERTAINMENT show and not a dance contest. Sure Mya is the best dancer but the whole concept of the show is teaching celebrities how to dance. Viewers get half the votes as well. I for one am not going to stop watching hot women dance around practically naked just because the damn viewers don't agree with my pick.

Mya & Joana should have been in the finale and not that stupid, super-spoiled brat whose dad is the famous one. Donny is a cute person but one of the worst dancers. I have a strange feeling it all pre-decided and judges just played along. We can still watch the videos and see how many times Donny was dancing in the most ugly manner, winning the judges highest scores, while both Joana & Mya dancing FANTASTICALLY and getting 5 from the judges. Go figure....

Just about everyone I've talked to knew that the real winner was M'ya. The fact that Donny and Kelly are less than great dancer's did not matter. The "Public" vote was what mattered and the sentiment that all those Donny Baby fan's had put him over the top. By now, everyone know's the show is absolutely not about dancing,...just popularity. I had not watched the show since the last time when Shawn Johnson beat Gilles Marini,...same thing. Gilles got screwed boy Shawn's popular base. I'd like to see a "Talent" show rather than this phony Dancing With the Star's. By the way,..the Judges need to see their therapist.

That fact that Mya did not win goes to show that the FIX was on. OK, Donny might have had an OK freestyle but what about every other dance throughout the 10 weeks. I was more impressed with Kelly who came in basically no talent but steadily improved. I've watched this show since the beginning but no longer. It has become all about the ratings and now is a watered down product. What a joke... Why to go ABC.

For the past two years my sister and I watched this program every Monday and Tuesday night...because we enjoy dance...and admire SKILL.
Mya should have won...because she was the best dancer!
Two seasons ago...we watched the same thing happen to Mel B when Helio won! Again...likeability over skill!
Completely rigged outcomes like this are an insult to the intelligence of those of us who want to be both entertained and to see the challenge with skill coming out as the defining item that determines who wins.
We have decided we will not ever watch this show again...
Incidently...I predicted to my sister that Donny would win...because America is enchanted by charisma and seems to have aversion to skill.
FOLKS, FOLKS...its a TV show. Half points from the judges the other half the public. Most of the audience have been or still are Osmond fans and he won fair and square. Nothing was fixed it was all up to the voters and I guess the voters didn't think Mya should have won ???? tooooooo bad Mya. Donny was at least 20 years older then them and worked hard for what he got ! I am more then pleased he won and I would have continued to watch DWTS no matter what. Childish comments saying "I'll never watch that show again" Please folds give it a break....and Donny everytime you look into that shinning ball.....just know you won it for all of your hard work you were terrific. Was the show that aired on ABC November 24, 2009, really the finals for dancers who had competed during the season on Dancing With the Stars or was it a pilot for the return of the Muppets or an interlude for the clearly "fixed win" of Donny Osmond? What is the criteria for the show to illullminate fraud for viewers. It would be nice if we had entertainment that stayed on course and not pull the strings of viewers. The show has become an extremely distasteful and fraudulent. Get with the program or get off the program.

i wish kelly would have won based on the fact she had no dance experience and improved so much with a great attitude. donnie won purely from the Mormon vote, the same votes that kept marie in way too long. donnie is a showman thru and thru but that doesnt mean he was the best dancer. his stupid competition with marie (that he continually referenced) was immature and stupid. mya was the best dancer hands down. but she, like donnie, has experience. having donnie sing certainly did turn the show into the donnie show. he needs to stay in vegas performing at seniors reduced lunch. next we'll be having to watch all the osmond grandkids all over the place. go kelly!!

I can't believe the Osmond guy won!!! This is supposed to be a dancing competition not a popularity one. Since last week I knew Donny had won Dancing with the stars, ABC fixed this, l won't watch this program again, what for, just to see how low they can go next season?

won, she's gifted dancer and has consistently scored 10's on her performances from 3 judges.

I am totally disgusted with the judges. Shame on them! They began tearing Mya down and building Donny up two or three weeks ago and I had a sinking feeling they were setting him up to win. I am a ballroom dancer and I know that some of their criticisms of Mya were unfounded and they overlooked many of Donny's mistakes. Mya was obviously the superior dancer. A good show gone bad! I will never watch it again.

Dancing with the Stars is going downhill with all its hoopla, acrobats, and no serious dancing. Mya was truly the winner on the show. Every week I thought Donny would be let go since he really couldn't dance and was as stiff as a board. My condolences to Mya & Kellie who who should have been #1 & # 2 respectively. I am shocked by the outcome and the judges should be replaced!

Mya was the clear winner and it saddens me that Donny was not a dancer. He made many mistakes and was truly a blob on TV. Shame on the judges!!
I know DWTS is scrambling for ratings, but "selecting" Donnie Osmond as this season's winner...........is way over the top! What a sham! Mya was decidedly the winner of this competition. She danced her heart out and was the most poised and consistent in her growth as a dancer. In fact, Donnie's last dance was as boring and uneventful as milk toast. Mya put pizazz into her performance, and certainly proved to be the most skilled, impressive, and deserving. Isn't that what this competition is about? But...the judges could have gone out and had a cup of coffee, as there was little diligence or intent other than to declare Osmond the winner of the last dance (just as they did the night before). Osmond could have just walked out and bowed, and he'd have been declared the most "creative" and "artistic".
When I heard that Osmond was going to be in this year's line up, I told my husband: Let me say this now. No matter how good or how poor Donnie Osmond performs, he will be the winner. With the "voting" structure as it is, the judges (or producers) can make subjective decisions at their whim. I'm not denying that Osmond didn't have a strong voting base, but I think that this show's "selection" superceded any outside vote, or demonstrated skill by another contestant. And: Surprise. Surprise. ET and sister Marie sitting in the front row, choreographing their shots for tonight's ET show only added to the farce. I don't ever want to waste my time on this show again. They got Donnie Osmond on the show. They put him in as winner. What more can they do to increase ratings? I know of only one: Her initials are: S. P. And we all know who would be marked to win that one!

Like most of the other reviewers, I definitely feel Mya was by far the best dancer and should have certainly won. Why Len 'nick-picked' her routines to death is beyond me. At times, he awarded her scores that were similiar to other BAD dancer's scores. I'm not a professional judge, but Carrie Ann and Bruno even looked shocked at times. Is this done on purpose to give the less-talented stars a 'chance'? To try to sway America to thinking that if LEN says she's not all that good, then maybe she's really not? I don't know. But it does make people wonder if the show is rigged. Let's face it, there weren't many talented prospects this year. Mya was the standout from the start. I like Donny Osmond - who doesn't for crying out loud, he's nearly a saint - but he didn't deserve to win. And for those who say it's a popularity contest, you're right, for 2 reasons: 1 - the Olympic swimmer went home WAY early because she's mostly unknown and didn't get America's votes. Though she was very good. And 2 - because the most popular contestant - not the best contestant - won. Now, if it's going to remain a popularity contest, then please change the name of the show to be more representative of that, and not bill it as a dancing contest. Not sure if I'll continue to watch the show. If I feel cheated, I can only imagine how Mya feels.
It is so unfair of how this show turns out. Mya was the first person to get full points. Very consistance with her dance move. So excited to watch, then again the Osmond are famous before Mya and Kelly was even born, so why do we think that either Mya or Kelly would of won. It is quite clear that Mya is the true winner. I am getting so dame tired of the result and unfairness of this show. The show show call "who do we know". Dont forget last year they did the same dame thing to Cheryl Burke and her partner.

It's clear they begain setting Mya up long before the announcement of the winner. When her partner talked her into preforming her free style in a routine manor, and after all that get out there an kick butt preformancing. You people should be ashame of yourselfs and Donnie should be even more so ashame. If for any reason that Mya didn't win it should have been given to crybaby Kelly. Only because she made the most pregrestion in the show. Mya you know and now you are aware that the public knows you are the true winner. This is so sad. I knew the last few weeks that Donny was going to win. They kept focusing on Marie and ET in the audiance. Great ET news that they will be showing forever. Don't forget that Donny was the ET reporter when Marie was on. What a Setup!

I thought DWTS was based on no one having any dancing experience at all.
Therefore, Kelly really should have one. It's time to have some professional judges do the voting and not the TV audience. Very disappointed with Donny's win....he's been dancing since he was a child.

To all who vow they will not watch Dancing With the Stars again because of its outcome last night, I'd like to know what is their alternative. Number one, it's an entertainment show, secondly, one-half its score is based on public opinion. One might say then, the art of dancing and one's ability do do so are only one part of a multiple scoring choice, including likeability. Consequently, it will always be a matter of public opinion, which may or may not depend upon the choices of the three on-site judges. Great show!
We loved watching the shows with the great dancing and costumes.
Mya deserved to win because she was good all season long.
Donny worked and made progress just like Kelly but Mya had it going on!
mya was the winner. I have wtched from beginning of show, but since MelB Guilles, and now Mya I am done. I will not look at DWTS next season or ever again

I wasn't shocked that Mya did not win although she should have. Once Kelly was elimanted from the competition, & Donny sang, I didn't know whether the program switched from DWTS to The Donny Osmond Show. Mya was clearly the best dancer featured on the show.

We started watching this year as we like dancing, which this show has very little of unless you call back flips and handstands dancing. I told my wife that Kelly and Donnie were going to be in the final even though they were not good dancers. Maya danced, and any dance coach would tell you that she was good, but good doesn't count in a populartiy contest. It's fixed from the start, and is my last time watching. Too many commercials anyway, and the judges are a bunch of clowns that couldn't judge a dancing contest if they had to. They forgot what talent is. Too criticial of the good dancers and too forgiving of the the bad ones. Especially Kelly and Donnie.

DIDN'T WATCH THE SHOW MUCH LAST YEAR. THE CELEBS THIS YEAR WERE UNKNOWN TO ME EXCEPT OSMOND..NO INTERST THIS YEAR PLUS WAY TOO MANY COMMERCIALS AND CHIT CHAT. TOM COULD HANDLE THE SHOW EASILY W/O HARRIS (BORING AND MAKES THE SHOWS BOTH NIGHTS WAY TOO LONG). COSTUMES ARE DISGUSTINGLY TOO BARE. IT IS NOT A DANCING CONTEST; IT'S A POPULARITY CONTEST. JUST FROM LISTENING TO TV AND READING MAGAZINES, I KNEW OSMOND WOULD WIN SO I WATCHED THE LAST 40 MINUTES OF THE SHOW LAST NIGHT AND WAS GLAD I DIDN'T PARTICIPATE AGAIN THIS SEASON. Dancing with the Stars is for entertainment and not a contest. Accuracy and facts don't matter. It's about which contenders can draw the most ratings. You might compare this to reality shows like "Survivor", where behind the scenes players are being coached, and what's shown on TV is trumped up for ratings. Another example is cable news, where the newsmakers are more interested in expressing their own views, in efforts to incite people and increase ratings instead of explaining the facts. The BCS, which decides which college teams go to which college bowl games, is not necessarily about who the best teams are, but who can generate the most revenues at the gate and on TV.
Don't let the facts get in the way of a good story, or ratings.
I'm not sure I'll watch Dancing with the Stars again after last night. Hmmm... let me see if I can find some of my old comic books. You can enjoy fantasy, especially if you know it's fantasy.

Kelly should have won as the person who entered the competition with absolutely no experience and who improved all through the show.
Donny was the next in line, as he has been in the business a long time and at his age, showed he could still work hard and win.
Mya was a great performer, but she is young and uses dance moves in her performances as a singer, more so than anyone else. So her performances and her natural ability were constantly good but only proved that she didn't really improve as much as the others.
After all, we really like to see a winner who comes the furthest in a competition.

Mya was the BEST!! I think since everyone was expecting Mya to win since she is the best they wanted to put some excitement in the show by awarding it to Donny. Not fair I will not watch the show again.
All three deserved to win: Kelly because she was the most improved (from a starting point of zero); Donny because he was the consummate hardworking entertainer; and Mya because she was clearly the most accomplished dancer. It's all in how you decide to approach the criteria for winning. Glad I didn't have to decide.

I didn't view the program last year and won't next year. It has become a glitzy ballroom of fleshy acrobatics rather than dancing - and featured a convicted lecherous, leering felon no less! How he got as far as he did is beyond me. Keeping both Donnie and crybaby Kelly in for so long was also a fix. Donnie's footwork stank and his expressions were ridiculous. Mya was the best and should have won. The other two would never make it in a regular ballroom competition.
Whitney Houston lost whatever she had years ago and the accompanying crotch-grabbing dancers were inappropriate.

Donny is clearly not a good dancer. He might be a grandpa, good person, a good husband, whatever... but he is no dancer. Judges had it in for Mya right from the begging.
Mya's performance was flawless throughout the whole competiton.
This is one show I will no longer be watching.

i wish kelly would have won based on the fact she had no dance experience and improved so much with a great attitude. donnie won purely from the Mormon vote, the same votes that kept marie in way too long. donnie is a showman thru and thru but that doesnt mean he was the best dancer. his stupid competition with marie (that he continually referenced) was immature and stupid. mya was the best dancer hands down. but she, like donnie, has experience. having donnie sing certainly did turn the show into the donnie show. he needs to stay in vegas performing at seniors reduced lunch. next we'll be having to watch all the osmond grandkids all over the place. go kelly!!
Mya should have won. Donny won on his name and not on his dancing.
I can't believe the Osmond guy won!!! This is supposed to be a dancing competition not a popularity one. Since last week I knew Donny had won Dancing with the stars, ABC fixed this, l won't watch this program again, what for, just to see how low they can go next season?

I am totally disgusted with the judges. Shame on them! They began tearing Mya down and building Donny up two or three weeks ago and I had a sinking feeling they were setting him up to win. I am a ballroom dancer and I know that some of their criticisms of Mya were unfounded and they overlooked many of Donny's mistakes. Mya was obviously the superior dancer. A good show gone bad! I will never watch it again.
Dancing with the Stars is going downhill with all its hoopla, acrobats, and no serious dancing. Mya was truly the winner on the show. Every week I thought Donny would be let go since he really couldn't dance and was as stiff as a board. My condolences to Mya & Kellie who who should have been #1 & # 2 respectively. I am shocked by the outcome and the judges should be replaced!
Mya was the clear winner and it saddens me that Donny was not a dancer. He made many mistakes and was truly a blob on TV. Shame on the judges!!
I know DWTS is scrambling for ratings, but "selecting" Donnie Osmond as this season's winner...........is way over the top! What a sham! Mya was decidedly the winner of this competition. She danced her heart out and was the most poised and consistent in her growth as a dancer. In fact, Donnie's last dance was as boring and uneventful as milk toast. Mya put pizazz into her performance, and certainly proved to be the most skilled, impressive, and deserving. Isn't that what this competition is about? But...the judges could have gone out and had a cup of coffee, as there was little diligence or intent other than to declare Osmond the winner of the last dance (just as they did the night before). Osmond could have just walked out and bowed, and he'd have been declared the most "creative" and "artistic".
When I heard that Osmond was going to be in this year's line up, I told my husband: Let me say this now. No matter how good or how poor Donnie Osmond performs, he will be the winner. With the "voting" structure as it is, the judges (or producers) can make subjective decisions at their whim. I'm not denying that Osmond didn't have a strong voting base, but I think that this show's "selection" superceded any outside vote, or demonstrated skill by another contestant. And: Surprise. Surprise. ET and sister Marie sitting in the front row, choreographing their shots for tonight's ET show only added to the farce. I don't ever want to waste my time on this show again. They got Donnie Osmond on the show. They put him in as winner. What more can they do to increase ratings? I know of only one: Her initials are: S. P. And we all know who would be marked to win that one!
Like most of the other reviewers, I definitely feel Mya was by far the best dancer and should have certainly won. Why Len 'nick-picked' her routines to death is beyond me. At times, he awarded her scores that were similiar to other BAD dancer's scores. I'm not a professional judge, but Carrie Ann and Bruno even looked shocked at times. Is this done on purpose to give the less-talented stars a 'chance'? To try to sway America to thinking that if LEN says she's not all that good, then maybe she's really not? I don't know. But it does make people wonder if the show is rigged. Let's face it, there weren't many talented prospects this year. Mya was the standout from the start. I like Donny Osmond - who doesn't for crying out loud, he's nearly a saint - but he didn't deserve to win. And for those who say it's a popularity contest, you're right, for 2 reasons: 1 - the Olympic swimmer went home WAY early because she's mostly unknown and didn't get America's votes. Though she was very good. And 2 - because the most popular contestant - not the best contestant - won. Now, if it's going to remain a popularity contest, then please change the name of the show to be more representative of that, and not bill it as a dancing contest. Not sure if I'll continue to watch the show. If I feel cheated, I can only imagine how Mya feels.
It is so unfair of how this show turns out. Mya was the first person to get full points. Very consistance with her dance move. So excited to watch, then again the Osmond are famous before Mya and Kelly was even born, so why do we think that either Mya or Kelly would of won. It is quite clear that Mya is the true winner. I am getting so dame tired of the result and unfairness of this show. The show show call "who do we know". Dont forget last year they did the same dame thing to Cheryl Burke and her partner.

It's clear they begain setting Mya up long before the announcement of the winner. When her partner talked her into preforming her free style in a routine manor, and after all that get out there an kick butt preformancing. You people should be ashame of yourselfs and Donnie should be even more so ashame. If for any reason that Mya didn't win it should have been given to crybaby Kelly. Only because she made the most pregrestion in the show. Mya you know and now you are aware that the public knows you are the true winner. Every time Donnie looks at that trophy he should drop his head because he knows he really didn't win. So CONGRADULATIONS Mya!
Remember the Russian win over the USA in the basketball championship of the Olympics? This was worse. The show can be referred to only as entertainment with an ending pre arranged. Was Mya the winner? Of course.
This is so sad. I knew the last few weeks that Donny was going to win. They kept focusing on Marie and ET in the audiance. Great ET news that they will be showing forever. Don't forget that Donny was the ET reporter when Marie was on. What a Setup!

I thought DWTS was based on no one having any dancing experience at all.
Therefore, Kelly really should have one. It's time to have some professional judges do the voting and not the TV audience. Very disappointed with Donny's win....he's been dancing since he was a child.
To all who vow they will not watch Dancing With the Stars again because of its outcome last night, I'd like to know what is their alternative. Number one, it's an entertainment show, secondly, one-half its score is based on public opinion. One might say then, the art of dancing and one's ability do do so are only one part of a multiple scoring choice, including likeability. Consequently, it will always be a matter of public opinion, which may or may not depend upon the choices of the three on-site judges. Great show!
We loved watching the shows with the great dancing and costumes.
Mya deserved to win because she was good all season long.

I wasn't shocked that Mya did not win although she should have. Once Kelly was elimanted from the competition, & Donny sang, I didn't know whether the program switched from DWTS to The Donny Osmond Show. Mya was clearly the best dancer featured on the show.
We started watching this year as we like dancing, which this show has very little of unless you call back flips and handstands dancing. I told my wife that Kelly and Donnie were going to be in the final even though they were not good dancers. Maya danced, and any dance coach would tell you that she was good, but good doesn't count in a populartiy contest. It's fixed from the start, and is my last time watching. Too many commercials anyway, and the judges are a bunch of clowns that couldn't judge a dancing contest if they had to. They forgot what talent is. Too criticial of the good dancers and too forgiving of the the bad ones. Especially Kelly and Donnie.
I am not watching dancing with stars anymore. The award is for Mye. It was Mya all the way. Mya won won and double won. Mye all the way. It was not fair. Then why do you choose the best dancer. What is the purpose of the Judges. If I were Donny I would feel guilty. He knows Mya should have the Cup.

TOM COULD HANDLE THE SHOW EASILY W/O HARRIS (BORING AND MAKES THE SHOWS BOTH NIGHTS WAY TOO LONG). COSTUMES ARE DISGUSTINGLY TOO BARE. IT IS NOT A DANCING CONTEST; IT'S A POPULARITY CONTEST. JUST FROM LISTENING TO TV AND READING MAGAZINES, I KNEW OSMOND WOULD WIN SO I WATCHED THE LAST 40 MINUTES OF THE SHOW LAST NIGHT AND WAS GLAD I DIDN'T PARTICIPATE AGAIN THIS SEASON. THEN TO HAVE OSMOND SING..THAT WAS A LAUGH. DANCE WINNER WAS MYA; SHOW SHOULD HAVE ENDED WITH MARIE OSMOND FAINTING AS MYA ACCEPTED THE "BALL". REALLY DON'T NEED ANOTHER SEASON. Dancing with the Stars is for entertainment and not a contest. Accuracy and facts don't matter. It's about which contenders can draw the most ratings. You might compare this to reality shows like "Survivor", where behind the scenes players are being coached, and what's shown on TV is trumped up for ratings. Another example is cable news, where the newsmakers are more interested in expressing their own views, in efforts to incite people and increase ratings instead of explaining the facts. The BCS, which decides which college teams go to which college bowl games, is not necessarily about who the best teams are, but who can generate the most revenues at the gate and on TV.
Don't let the facts get in the way of a good story, or ratings.
I'm not sure I'll watch Dancing with the Stars again after last night. Hmmm... let me see if I can find some of my old comic books. You can enjoy fantasy, especially if you know it's fantasy.

Kelly should have won as the person who entered the competition with absolutely no experience and who improved all through the show.
Donny was the next in line, as he has been in the business a long time and at his age, showed he could still work hard and win.
Mya was a great performer, but she is young and uses dance moves in her performances as a singer, more so than anyone else. So her performances and her natural ability were constantly good but only proved that she didn't really improve as much as the others.
After all, we really like to see a winner who comes the furthest in a competition.
Mya was the BEST!! I think since everyone was expecting Mya to win since she is the best they wanted to put some excitement in the show by awarding it to Donny. Not fair I will not watch the show again.
All three deserved to win: Kelly because she was the most improved (from a starting point of zero); Donny because he was the consummate hardworking entertainer; and Mya because she was clearly the most accomplished dancer. It's all in how you decide to approach the criteria for winning. Glad I didn't have to decide.
I didn't view the program last year and won't next year. It has become a glitzy ballroom of fleshy acrobatics rather than dancing - and featured a convicted lecherous, leering felon no less! How he got as far as he did is beyond me. Keeping both Donnie and crybaby Kelly in for so long was also a fix. Donnie's footwork stank and his expressions were ridiculous. Mya was the best and should have won. The other two would never make it in a regular ballroom competition.
Whitney Houston lost whatever she had years ago and the accompanying crotch-grabbing dancers were inappropriate.
You have to vote for the best dancer, not best person. America got it all wrong.
Donny is clearly not a good dancer. He might be a grandpa, good person, a good husband, whatever... but he is no dancer. Judges had it in for Mya right from the begging.
Mya's performance was flawless throughout the whole competiton.

Donny won fair and square - the judges had him tied with Mya, in case anyone can't count. He won the free style and the selected dance - what more do you people want? WooHoo, Donny. He was my favorite all along - a total gentleman, good guy, hard worker, sexy grandpa, super star.
