I believe it's time that we stand up against the actions of our government. We have arbitrarily given them way too much power and it has now come to the point where they play with our hard earned dollars to help out the big business interests whenever they feel like it without any input from the people who are providing those dollars. Why are they allowed just to implement this among many other things without requiring our input before making it a law. At the very least this should have gone to referendum and let the people speak. This province and this country for that matter is not made up soley of Corporate big business, the majority are hard working everyday people and a lot of us struggle with the day to day expenses of providing our families with a modest life. It just seems at every turn we are taxed or penalized so that the rich can get better tax breaks so thus, the rich get richer and poor get poorer.
I live on a fixed income and watch every dollar that I spend and I am tired of the government chipping away at that income. This is our money that they are spending and I think it's time that we were asked permission for the government to use it not the other way around.

I don't think it's right, specially after what Gordon Cambell had already said previously, are they all liars? Who are we suppose to believe anymore. What about all the single parents out there, does he not realise it's already hard enough.I'm a single working mom with two kids and it's hard very hard raising them with my income. Gordon Cambell needs to open his eyes because I sure don't make enough to pay anymore taxes...
