@ peter and luis, i have few questions for you and you will know after that who is stupid and who is an internet stroll:

    - what kind of journal does not send a notification of rejection to authors with reviewers comments?
    - can rejection rate alone "really" indicate goodness? what about impact factor!!!
    - if i create a journal and i reject all but 1 or 2 papers out of 100, will my journal be prestigious and labeled as good?
    - how can you know the quality of the rejected papers to compare them with those who get published?

one simple advise for you, before you think of arguing about something so obvious, think twice and most importantly don't judge people just because they say the truth about the quality of your journals

The problem with the "IEEE Conferences" is that they have accepted numerous SCIgen fake papers. Because the IEEE Conferences are not organized by IEEE but by independent university units, IEEE loses the quality control.

I consider the IEEE Transactions more prestigious than the WSEAS Transactions. I also consider the IEEE Conferences more prestigious than WSEAS

John is internet troll. The WSEAS Conferences and Journals are very prestigious. I am happy that I received my Ph.D. from National Technical University of Athens and I defend my Ph.D. with 3 publications that I have had in WSEAS Journals.

John, you are stupid. Just because your papers have been rejected again and again and just because you cannot publish in WSEAS you say that the ...rejected papers are better than the accepted. Everybody could have a good paper and has been rejected because the reviewers were unfair. This can happen to every scientific journal. Really, it is very very difficult to publish to WSEAS Journals.

WSEAS journals seem to reject papers a lot not because they are not up to the standards (since they do not even have a reviewer report sent to the author, or even a notification) but rather to show in their statistics that their acceptance rate is say 8%. the papers that get published are lower in standard compared to those rejected, and i have proof of that.
Let me correct those in charge of these journals, rejection rate means nothing, what matters is the papers that get published, and more importantly how many time (and where) they will be referenced to.

I have uploaded a manuscript for WESES Transactions on Computers. FileName: 53-416.doc and the Transactions ID Number: 53-363. How could i know the status of my manuscript

WSEAS journals work in an excellent academic way. Submitted papers are forwarded to the editor in chief and they are peer reviewed at least by 3 reviewers. Neither me nor other colleagues have ever been asked to pay fees in order to publish their papers. Several other organizations ask for extra money in order to publish color figures or extra pages. In similar cases WSEAS has never asked for money. Furthermore in contrast to the policies followed by other Organizations, all WSEAS journals are open access, a feature which most researchers want.

WSEAS conferences are characterized from high attendance, variety of subjects, and strong contribution to the development of the Technical Research. Obviously there are fees as in any serious conference happens. WSEAS Journals publish a lot of innovative research in multiple topics of Science and Engineering without any fee. I believe that the low acceptance rate is related with the Editors effort to maintain and to improve the quality of the published research.

It is true that the review process in WSEAS transactions is quite strict but I can understand that this happens due to the effort only high quality works to be published. Although the rejection of a paper is something very unpleasant (it happened twice with me), it is good to know that the papers in WSEAS Transactions are published free of charge and all of them are of high quality.

It is a pleasure to say that ,in my opinion , WSEAS Conferences are organized on a high professional level ( Quality of papers, presentations, seeession chairing).
As for the WSEAS Journal Papers, I think that they reflect considerable progress that have been achieved in the field. The contributions provide inspiration to researchers and developers giving a solid perspective for the analysis of current and future models and approaches in the area. The publishing procedure is with very high rejection rate. For example, only one negative of the three or more positive opinions in the reviewing process means rejection automatically. The difficulty to publish a paper in WSEAS Transactions is high. Finally the published papers in WSEAS Transactions are free bof charge.

In the 15 years of existence, WSEAS continually sought to raise standards in scientific researches from various fields. This organization successfully managed to create bridges of cooperation between researchers from around the world in a friendly framework of collaboration. WSEAS conferences have made known to the interested public the latest results of science and engineering. The best papers were published without charge in the WSEAS journals, helping the authors to share their original results to other colleagues.
Thanks to all those who make these opportunities possible for researchers around the world!

We appreciate very much the WSEAS Conferences, because is an important way to be known in whole scientific world. The quality of papers are very high, being reviewed for many times before they are published.
The best papers have the opportunity to be published in WSEAS Journals without any fee, which is a great help for the people who work in education.
Congratulations for WSEAS team for their hard work.

I will glad to have a contribution in one of WSEAS conferences and as soon as possible I will send the required information to Mr. POLYRAKIS . I have a good memory form the WSEAS conference where my paper was selected as the best paper…

I am an Editor-in-Chief of WSEAS Tran.s on CAS. The publishing procedure is very strict. Every paper passes a review by 3 independent reviewers. The rules are simple. One negative review means rejection. We publish only high level paper and our intent is to get impact factor soon.

  • The organization of WSEAS is very good. They have large number of papers for every conference and all they are very efficientlty reviewed. Thre best papers are invited to be published (after being extended) in the WSEAS magazines. The submitted papers are then reviewed again and if accepted, they are published in the magazines. The publishing in the WSEAS magazines is free and the papers are accessible via Internet.

I highly appreciate the work of the WSEAS editors and thank them for their excellent work.

Submit your paper using this form
    http://www.worldses.org/transactions/index.html
Nobody will ask you to pay!
    is it clear?
but for the conferences of course we have fees as any serious organization that does not have any other source of money! No governmental support!

  • Rena Politi (WSEAS Administration) - 10 months ago

Previously in this blog, there was a comment from Dr. Raswan
    engrashwan@yahoo.com
He had complaints because we asked him money for a conference paper.
If his paper is good, he can send it directly to the WSEAS Journals where no money are needed.

Another comment from Dr. NILADRI: maity_niladri@rediffmail.com
    www.mzu.edu.in
that the conference fee is high
Again the answer is the same: Publish on our WSEAS Journals that are absolutely free
and do not confuse the fee of the conferences that exists with the ABSOLUTELY FREE PUBLICATION in our journals!

  • Micle - 1 year ago

YES! It is real what they write
I like this people and Nikos Mastorakis very much
    I am fan of WSEAS

The WSEAS Journals are entirely independent from the WSEAS Conferences, since they are currently candidates in ISI Web of Knowledge (all the WSEAS Conferences and Books have been already in ISI Web of Knowledge). Authors can send (upload) their papers to WSEAS Transactions regardless of whether they have attended a WSEAS conference or not. Also the WSEAS Transactions are the only open access journals in the world where the Authors do not pay any kind of registration fees or publication fees or "donation" (i.e. the full PDF files of the papers are permanantly open for everybody, without any restrictions, while the authors are not charged with any kind of fees). The Editors-in-Chief, being assisted by the members of the Editorial Boards, are the absolute decision makers for the acceptance or not of the submitted papers. WSEAS simply prints out the papers in hard copies & on the web

WSEAS journals do not demand money to publish
Try to send papers to WSEAS
    Nobody will ask you money

  • Jalal - 1 year ago

Of course, the WSEAS does not demand money for publishing papers. For the WSEAS only the quality and the originaility of the papers counts.

Wseas is a very good publishing company and I think the published papers are of high quality.

    Reply to N. AMUTHAN

Mr. N. AMUTHAN you are totally wrong!
The WSEAS Journals do not require money for publication.
Only the WSEAS Conferences have fee.
I found the WSEAS Journals and WSEAS books too difficult to publish.
The conferences are not so difficult
