Allowing advertising is a great idea provided the money actually goes to off-set the cost of teams.

Advertising and sports go hand in hand, and companies pay big dollars to the media for their advertising spots. This is a great way to offset costs for the various teams. Advertising can be directed at kids (healthful and helpful) and to the parents for a wide variety of products;i.e. Insurance ,Autos, Trucks, grocery, Vacation travel, clothing, restaurants etc.
Advertise in a specified size and keep uniformity so all are equal and no one can create a disheveled and messy signage. Do not restrict it to fields but, include every gymnasium or activity center. It is a revenue producer that is taken advantage of by most communities, tho one must also require instant replacement for damaged or worn signage.
