grrrrr. this irks me. been having to correct people left, right and centre with this of late. 'we've' been spelling this word one way for eons. it is only fairly recently that i seeing people with this "whine" as de way to go now--then they pick arguments with folks about it! it's like being in the twilight zone.

I agree with Colin's definition of the word. You need to add a thrid option to the poll

Wine is simply the Trini pronunciation of "wind" as in to wind a watch
