Should Halfmoon allow A-frame signs?

Wayne's comments are vary valid - especially for the existing signage that is currently in Place at Town Center Plaza. We view more "near" accidents from our window with customers to this plaza slamming their brakes to slow down because they realize too late that they are at Town Center. The current signage is 9" high per slot on the main street sign - try viewing that traveling in a car at 40+ mpr and you will see the difficultly and danger involved. According to the Town of Halfmoon, this current sign is bigger than allowed by regulations. The use of the A-Frame signs allows customers to see their destination approaching in a more timely manner, allowing them to get into the correct lane (without causing an accident) so they can make the turn into the driveway of their destination. Route 9 is a commercial strip of property, not a residential road. I have not heard of accidents from A-Fram sign usage in the Town of Clifton Park.
