So, just how did Katsuyu arrive so far away from Konoha anyway?

Tsunade threw her all the way from Konoha. That Hokage sure is strong and she has good aim to boot. ;)

She was deposited from a space capsual that took flight from the Hokage's personal emergency space station. The smoke rising off of her is just a result of the heat caused by atmospheric re-entry.

Katsuyu did things the natural way and walked (or rather slithered) there. That's all there is too it. Slugs are faster than you think. ^ ^
