I love how Facebook allows me to control my privacy settings.... I can share everything I want w/ my family and have some of it for friends. It is a great way to keep in touch with others.

At first, I thought Facebook was another invention of time wasting by technologically advanced college students. But, being a veteran of the Air Force, I have many friends who are still active duty in all branches, including my husband still in the Air Force. Our friends are scattered all over the globe, and Facebook has allowed us to get in touch with these life long friends that are otherwise difficult to find. So I actually thank Facebook for bringing me back in touch with these dear and brave friends who are serving in various parts of the world.
