What a great turn-out for salon/spa votes. Thank you to all the clients, fans and friends of square one. Also, a shout out to the charities that have worked hand-in-hand with us all year. They make a huge difference in our community! We are very proud of our salon, and love being among these great salons in Dayton! No matter which salon you represent, it is obvious every salon employee works to do what is right for their clientele. Congratulations to all the talent at the HAIRBALL as well....that was amazing! We should all be excited we are part of such a proud culture of salons! Dayton takes a lot of hard knocks...but we shine in the amount of professional salons in the area! Again - Way to Go EVERYONE!!
CONGRATULATIONS to all of the salons and spa's that had a place in the Active Dayton . com poll to name the best salon or day spa in Dayton. We are the owner's of Arti Beauty Spa and are honored to be in such good company. We would like to send a special congratulations to Square One. It is very wonderful to see such passion from clients and professionals.We have been in this business for 25 years and are amazed at how it has changed from a paper appointment book to computers and even having your schedule on your smart phone!! Wow what strides we have made.
We are so impressed by the contenders in this category , some new names and some pillars of the beauty industry in Dayton. All are WINNERS in our eyes. A new year is a fresh start for many things and what a great time it would be as professionals in the beauty industry to come together for the greater good of the community and each other. A little playful competition is great for moral and it gives us a great tool for engaging with quests and clients for building loyalty.
So to all the beauty professionals and salons/day spa's who took place in this event........ CONGRATULATIONS and we look forward to seeing you all "in the running" next year.

I've been to a lot of salons in the Dayton area, and Square One is the best! Not only are the owners and stylists professional and friendly, but the decor and atmosphere of Square One is a calming experience I look forward to with each appointment. I absolutely LOVE Square One in Centerville! Everyone is extremely nice and they genuinely care about each and every customer. Great hair, great color, warm & inviting, when you go to Square One you feel like part of their family and not just a customer. I have lived all over the world and SquareOne is one of THE best salons anywhere! The education of the stylists, the owners' dedication to customer service and the atmosphere are always one step ahead of anything else in Dayton.
I love Square One! Both locations are great, the Third Street location was remodeled last year and I really love the new look. While parking is somewhat troublesome, I enjoy the short walk to the salon. Everyone there is so nice and not fake as some salons. It's true that they listen to our lives all day just some salons I have been to in the area are not as friendly. They are a full service salon and I even get my husband to have a spa day once or twice a year. Good Luck Square One Salons!

Salon Reveal gets my vote. A friend of mine referred me to the place just recently and I must say I was VERY impressed. I've gone everywhere in the Dayton area - Michael's, Hausfeld's, Trio's, Square One, Affinity - and was never 100% satisfied. Although I never received a BAD cut/color at any of the above locations, none of them compare to the two cuts/highlights I got at Salon Reveal. I would recommend Salon Reveal without hesitation.
I LOVE Salon Reveal...The decor is so comfortable and chic. Michael has thought of everything from the flattering lighting to the fresh flower arrangements. The entire staff is so friendly...you feel like a member of the family. And the services are impeccable...I have never had a bad cut.
I travel to Dayton from Columbus every 6-8 weeks to have my hair/nails done at Ashworth's Beauty Group. Not only is the staff highly professional and very talented, but they make me feel right at home as soon as I walk in the door. I stumbled upon it while on a business trip and now make it part of my routine. Seems like a long trek from C-bus, but I haven't found a salon I liked better!
I have been going to Trio's Salon in Centerville for years and I love it there! The environment is warm and welcoming and the sylists are very professional as well as being quite talented. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants great looking hair!
252 West Salon & Med Spa is the most amazing salon experience that I have ever had! I love that they use Framesi hair color, it is the best color I have ever had, and not so easy to find. The experience in the shampoo room was simply magical, the chairs are top of the line and Samantha does the most incredible head and neck massage that I have ever had in my entire life, I recently learned that she is also the massage therapist, cannot wait for my 90 minute aromatherapy massage, I am sure it will be BLISS! They have my vote!
252 West Salon & Spa is the best! Always have wonderful people working, & the atmoshpere is perfect. Always feel pampered when i'm there. Everyone is so nice & helpful. :) Samantha is the bomb! My favorite stylist. Would never go anywhere else but 252 West!

The facility is 'quietly' elegant, the front desk personnel greet me with courtesy
and virtually all the staff smile and are welcoming. Colleen and Cathy have developed a nuturing spot that is bound to continue to grow.
Then there's my personal colorist, hair designer, manicurist/pedicurist and waxer, Briana. I've followed her for the past 6yrs and she's the best.
I have to say 252 West is the best! Colleen is my stylist but I have watched the other girls and all of them take the time to talk to you and find out the look your going for and also offer suggestions. The service is wonderful starting at the door with the pleasant greeting from the receptionist. If your looking for a salon that concentrates on you and has the most relaxing head message while you're getting a shampoo this is the place.
Salon Reveal is head and shoulders above other salons in the Dayton and Springboro area. Michael Arthur is a hair genius - he's the BEST and he employs the best! I'd follow Michael anywhere!
All of my friends and family get their hair done at Salon Reveal. Our color always looks AMAZING!!! Michael and Val are both the best stylist that I have ever went to in my life and I have been to tons of hair stylist.
Salon Reveal is the best salon in Dayton hands down.

Salon ventures is not only refreshingly new and classically crisp in decor, I loved the welcoming feel of this salon. I have been going to one stylist, Michelle Dawes, for years and always leave her chair feeling renewed and beautiful!
252 West Med Spa and Salon, Amazing space awesome people and Top notch service. I'm a hair stylist myself that lives out of state but when I come to visit family this is where I come to get services done and send all my family who lives there to Colleen she is the Bomb! Can't say enough about how awesome a stylist she is plus just a wonderful person to talk with. The whole staff is always professional and up to date on all the newest trends. A must to check out!
I love 252 West! I go there for all my salon needs (hair and nails)....I have never not been offered a beverage and am always given exceptional service! I love love love it!
