Why would citizen Zelaya want to come back to Honduras? His nation rejected his secret effort with dictator Chávez, who rejected the democracy cherished by all in Honduras, and will not welcome back a man who thought he was so important as to be indispensable. Venezuela is rapidly failing, no matter what the price of oil, because Chávez rejects democracy in favor of dictatorial socialism- a temporary form of government that automatically fails and turns to communism to try to save itself- but only causes more rapid failure.

Why would Honduras, be able to elect an opponent of Zelaya's party, but find a man not anxious to outlaw opposition? The answer must be that democracy is alive in Honduras and did not die to be resurrected by any foreign leaders vote. If the Cancún meeting makes those foreigners think they have 'papered over' their mistaken attempt to intervene, so be it; but keep in mind that the people of Honduras had to endure a lot of pain because of it! They will not forget, nor will Zelaya! The rest of the quiet global majority applaud the people of Honduras!
