Need an example of the positions that can be cut, take a walk through the halls of the district offices any afternoon of the week and try and get someone to help you. They are all too "busy" surfing the internet on their computers to be bothered with noticing someone that obviously does not work there, so must be needing assistance, is stopping at each door way looking completely lost. I saw solitare games being played, news being read, facebook being checked, but only one person actually doing district work, a man pushing a broom down the hallway.
The sports programs of Amador County Schools keeps our kids busy, safe and healthy outside of class. Just check out how many of our athletes are also scholar-athletes. It is one of the best anti-gang programs going. Just how many gang-types do you see on the soccer, football, track, cross country, wrestling, swimming, basketball, tennis, golf, and volleyball teams? How many gang-types are on the cheer squads?
