Well, I do know pressing 5 times shift will get you an annoying screen. But I don't know what is actually does. So I voted no.
On Windows, press the Shift-key 5 times. Very annoying in full-screen games. Also, you may go to your Configuration Screen, and search for it.
If you have button-mashing games involving the mashing Shift-key, be sure to toggle off the shortcut key.
On Mac OS X, go to Apple menu > Sytem Preferences > Universal Access > Keyboard > Make sure the first checkbox is toggled off.
