I'm against graffiti full stop. As far as I'm concerned, whether it's 'art' or someone scrawling a tag, it's still graffiti. It shows a general lack of respect for public property and is unpleasant. I recently travelled down to Birmingham by train and on the approach to the city centre there's hardly a single flat surface that has not been 'tagged'. It looks awful, it's intimidating and I think that the authorities should come down hard on those who do it. There are places for art, and public property is not one of them.

I would love to see some comments from those choosing to vote "no". I'd like to hear their objections to the reestablishment of such a long standing and well love piece of art.
