Ok, no one denies that it's easier to get PBWT but guess what's easier than getting PBWT on your own? Having the servers do it for you. Yes, I'm lazy and I don't feel like burning my ephemeral eyes but really, PWWT was given to us less than 2 months ago. If you didn't take advantage of it then, I don't think you deserve to get it now. PBWT all the way. Time to farm the hell out of those stones.
PWWT PLEASE! I've already beat all of world 2 and I can't get PWWT unless they make it that way now.. PB is so freakin easy to do, so PWWT all the way.

You know, the vote is so close maybe Atlus should consider making this a two day event and having one day for each tendency?
First, you guys are some sad SOBs voting for PBWT on Valentines day
Second, I've beaten every single boss in the game in soul form, no body deaths, and when my internet finally started working all my world tendancies shifted back to neutral, AND ALL MY BOSSES ARE DEAD
Third, I can play as the Old Monk for like an hour and suicide for PBWT
What the hell? It's so much easier to get PBWT than PWWT, especially since you can farm stones. Voting for PBWT is just stupid, sorry.
I vote white because I have over 40 stones so I can change the world tendency to black easily and if your doing pure white events you could kill NPC to change it to neutral again because the NPC will be in body form not in phantom form. After you have done all pure white events you can suicide yourself in each world about 3 times since you will most likly be neutral and then do the pure black events and start to kill the black phantom NPC and end up being in neutral again.
I voted black because I have done most of the white tendency material, but none of the black (I just don't like using up my stones). However, here are several other reasons to vote for black:
The most recent event was white, so it is black's turn.
If you are playing Demon's Souls on Valentine's Day instead of spending it with that special someone, you are most likely in a black mood.
The next major holiday is Easter, which should probably be white (though it is also a holiday that could go either way). Maybe they will give you a bonus for casting Resurrection on Easter.

It's EASY to ger pure black, just suiciding and using stones...and you can farm stones of ephemeral eyes where you fight Astraea.
I really like being able to play the game with other people, and I feel that playing in pbwt really brings people together for a great challenge, and I also like pwwt. But if everyone knows what they're getting into, then it should be a lot of (difficult) fun. If all of the newbs knew what was going on, it might help make sense....I wad clueless when I started the game...
To have all the worlds black at once and not have to invade and use all my ephemeral eye stones, I voted black. Plus I have played through the game a few times and PWWT is not that hard to achieve. I think everyone is not realizing that to keep a world PB you need to do a lot of work. When you kill a primeval demon your WT will go up and out of PB again. I say black.

That's 7 stones per world that's 35 stones. Thats about more than 2 playthroughs worth of stones. THAT IS WHY. Go play more, some day you will get basic math.

If it's only 1 day, i vote for Pure White... If the event is multiple days, i go for Pure Black
With Pure white you can go find the stuff you need and be done with it
Pure black is more for farming stones. So it takes longer.
Come on, we need white tendancy! You can get black tendancy all you want just by dying, white world tendancy has gotten screwed up for a lot of people, including myself, and now I can't get to Scirvir!
Real men play in PBWT.
Either PBWT or PWWT is easy to get if you play offline.
But PBWT is hard to get when you play online.
This is a great chance to get some co-op / P v P with toughest setting!
I voted for PBWT. I want to fight enemies that put up more of a challange, farm for some nice rare ores and watch the number of bloodstains triple per level!
WHo cares if PWWT is hard to get.. stay in spirit form the whole game and youll be fine. If you find THAT to be too hard, then it's no wonder why you dont want things to be PB...

trend-killer, what if no boss left to kill, Mmm then what. You can farm those stones till one has 99 of them so to say 'waste' is not really the word, more 'use'.
Wulf, you have to go back to nexus everytime you die and if you want pure black do so OFFLINE and you will be fine. Just match the world color with the smashed world color stone in the tendency menu.
Guys you can farm colorless souls as well and end up with 99 of them if you really feel the need...
Pure white world tendency is a no brainer to vote for.

Black is extremely easy to get.....Just die a few times, White on the other hand is harder. I've beaten black a few times and now i don't want this screwed over cause of an event.
Vote for Black. We just had white awhile ago and Black gives better drops, increasing your chances of obtaining rare shards.
Make sure you make it pure BLACK we got PW WT for xmas, now it's time for black so we can get our character tendencies PW by slaying BP's and save ephemeral stones!

It is not too often that the servers actually align every world to the same tendency... and since it will last for a short amount of time, it would be most beneficial to most users who have not been able to achieve Pure White. There are so many tendency specific items and events that are left unaccessible when Pure White is unattainable. It is always possible to change to Pure Black, we should all work toward getting Valentines day to be PURE WHITE.

I would gladly pay 60 bucks if atlus would re-release the online portion as a stand alone game, with voice-chat, and the ability to send friend invites.
oh, and you can farm the blood babies in 5-3 for stones of ephemeral eyes, so getting pure black WT is super, super easy. I voted for pure WT, so i can get a second Axe from executioner miralda and duel wield guillotine axes!!!
Yeah, the reason it needs to be white is that the game gravitates towards an average world tendency if you play online, so your PWWT can be gone through no fault of your own next time you play. PBWT can be achieved anytime.
If you need help achieving PBWT, then I not only feel sorry for you....
but you should probably consider a different game.
If you are crying about 'losing stones' maybe you should find another way.
I can have any world Pure Black within 20mins using Black Eye Stone (and ZERO Ephemeral).
Last I checked, I didn't "lose any stones".
It is obvious as hell that the harder to achieve is PWWT,
and if you are going to sit here and vote for Black instead because you are level 680 and want to Farm your way to level 712....

At this point in my personal game, I would probably be better off with a Black Tendency event, except I'm not a douche... so I voted for White.

White Tendency please!
Tower of Latria is impossible to get it to that Tendency (that damn Old Monk discourages people from placing their blue signs). And the Maneaters are bastards. Heck, the Old Monk himself isn't easy to beat either since he summons other players....

C'mon guys! Go for Pure Black! More souls! Better Gecko drops! And Primeval Demon's for colourless demon souls! Pure White is easy to get! You just gotta suicide in the nexus and beat worlds in soul form so they never shift towards black! It's easier to do than farm ephemeral stones over and over just to reach pure black.
As others have already said, it is a lot more difficult to get to PWWT, especially if you make a few mistakes, whereas PBWT just requires suicide and stones/helping someone kill a boss to achieve.

Need to fight BP Garl Vinland, so I vote PWWT. PBWT just takes either stones or time to play as an ally. PWWT is pretty much beat the entire level in soul form. Lame. And hard.
Both tendencies are easy as hell to accomplish. Just don't play the world in body form if you don't want to risk going -1.
Black is much, much more worthwhile. Especially since you need PBWTs in order to get up to PWCT, since the only thing in all of offline play that buffs your CT is killing the 5 named BP NPCs.
Pure black gives better drops and more souls and stones are hard to find. NPC BPs put up a better fight. PWWT is for wussies.

I agree with Ztary, the PBWT is easy to get, just die in body form, its the PWWT that's harder than hell to get if you screw up. I vote for the PWWT! ^_^

Demons souls needs more kinds of tendencies, something to make the game feel more fresh~ but it is still Uber awesome!
