Kishi definitely drew ideas for Sage mode from Goku's Super Sayan 4 state, just like he drew inspiration from Goku's character as a whole for Naruto.

Nah, it's just a pure coincidence. There's no way it could have been done on purpose.

Who cares. Both are great shows/manga, so it doesn't matter to me.

I think Kishi took a lot of inspiration from DBZ as a whole, not just from Goku as a character for the basis of Naruto's own personality. You can see a lot of influence in his work.

I think these connections are nothing more than fabrications of our own imaginations. You're just thinking about it too much.
