What's your thesis level comfort?
I understand the function of a thesis in an analytic, interpretive essay, and have a clear conception of its necessary components: What? How? Why? (and hopefully Wow!)
I understand that a thesis should introduce the ideas I'm going to develop in my paper, but I'm not quite sure what constitutes and argumentative thesis should look like.
I know that my thesis should serve, in part, as an introduction and organizing framework for my close-readings, but I'm not quite sure how to present clearly delineated "Whats?" "Hows?" and "Whys?"
I think I've almost got a handle on what a thesis should look like, but I'd like to spend more class-time discussing how o develop one.
I'm lost. Help? What the heck do you mean by "What?," "How?," "Why,?" "argumentative" and "analytic"
