all that i want is for the season to start on time. both sides need to realize that a strike will nearly kill everything that has been built up for the last 10 years. both sides need to give in a little, at least enough so that the season can begin and negotiations can continue throughout the season to finalize every little detail. heres prayin that the season starts on time and this mess gets figured out

Our family are big Sounders fans and season ticket holders. We were outraged to find out how poorly many of the players are paid on Seattle's roster. If the MLS, team owners and players union don't sort this out, then the MLS will only be a training ground for talent. Last year's inaugural season brought in massive income with every game sold out. It shows what's possible across the league. However, fans won't remain loyal if they decide the MLS is screwing both the players and the fans.

Like in Brewster's Millions, I wouldn't mind voting "None of the Above".

I would be more on the union's side if they were pushing agenda items like a real working wage for the bottom end developmental players and trying to set a minimum salary in the $50 to 75k range.

But they seem stuck on helping out the veteran players that are already making nice money.

Plus, it's not like the MLS teams by themselves are raking in cash. SUM and the stadiums themselves seem to be much more profitable that the teams are.....

Bad poll. Should not be simply an either/or.
