eklaya was the best archer.given proper training from great gurus like dronachyra OR parushuram..........
arjun and karna were great archer but tthey were god's son ...so being talented is not great thing........but eklaya was a simple advasi human being...so i feel eklaya was greater then all of them...........all were god or godess sons with supreme power............

Arjuna was undoubtedly the best. He proved that during the Virat yudh or Matsya yudh when he fought the entire Kuru army single handed in the guise of Brihannala. That army contained Bheesma, Drona, Kripacharya, Karna, Duryodhana, Dussasana, Asvatthama all together. They all had their celestial weapons at their disposal. Yet Arjuna alone defeated them. And as far as Indra taking away Karna's Kavach kundal is concerned, Arjuna did not have any special armor either. If Arjuna's killing of Karna when he was unarmed is unjustified then the same should go for people like Drona and Karna himself regarding the slaughter of Abhimanyu. If they were so great archers why didn't they defeat him in a fair fight instead of attacking together?

Most people are voting on the basis of what is shown in TV serials and not what is given in Mahabharata scripture. Karna have got the sympathy votes. In reality Arjuna was the best archer and warrior of Mahabharata war. Even Krishna says in Gita that among kshatriyas he is Arjuna. Arjuna was the only archer who had mastered the art of shooting arrows with both hands with equal accuracy (sabyasachin). He was the only warrior who had the blessings lord Shiva and Adi Shakti. Vyasa has written 'yatra yogeshwah krishnah, yatra parth dhanurdharah, tatra srivijyosmimatirmam' (It is my view that victory would be there, where yogeshwar Krishna and archer Arjuna are). He was invincible and not even once in his career he got defeated by anybody. He had all the astras including Pasupatyashtra, Vaishnavashtra , Brahmastra and Indrastra. Unlike Drona and Karna he rarely used any devastating astras on anybody. He vanquished everyone including Bhishma, Karna and Drona singularly in his masterly act. Even in Mahabharata war no one could defeat him ever. He had an upper hand against Bhishma. He successfully checked Bhishma in a fierce encounter and cut down Bhishma's couple of bows with his arrows. It is evident in Mahabharata that Arjuna did not want to kill Bhishma or Drona and fought with them mildly. Arjuna defeated Karna twice before there final encounter in kurukshetra war. He vanquished Karna before killing Jaydratha. Karna could not save Jaydratha. Karna was one of best archers of Mahabharata but was behind Arjuna, Bhishma, Drona, Satyaki and Abhimanyu. Karna was defeated 4 times by Bhima on 14th day of war. Satyaki also defeated him that day.

Pitamah Bheesma was great archer and invincible warrior.arjun beat Pitamah Bheesma with the help of sikandy.On the Gurushetra war there is an intense battle between Bheesma and Arjun. Although Arjuna was very powerful, but he was no match to Bheesma. Bheesma soon shot arrows which cut his Armour and then also his Gandiva bow. Arjuna was helpless.Arjuna took Sikandy with him to fight Bhishma.Bhishma would not take arms against Sikandy who was a woman in previous incarnation.Arjuna and Sikandy both attacked and felled Bhishma.
