I use duplex at home when ever possible to save paper. I would not use it for a formal paper, however if I am printing out articles it would be a great feature.

I'm checking on citation styles, but so far:
MLA - doesn't care about papers printing one-sided vs two-sided
Chicago - only one-sided is allowed
APA - previous edition said only one-sided, but latest edition says nothing - I've posted a question on their website.
