Yes definitely! As an artist myself, I feel that lyrics are very important. If you are asking because you are trying to decide on CD packaging and have bumped into the common issue of adding more panels which costs more money, I say do it if you can afford to. I am of the old school and still love having a booklet to read through. I still have my old vinyl records and miss the days of buying records that came with all sorts of fun stuff like newspapers (ala Dead Kennedys) or just large inserts with lyrics, graphics, and thanks area.

Enjoy being able to read the lyrics of a song. On occasion if I really like a song will even mouth the words on stage which the local crowds love. Also even if its in another language will look up how to pronounce the words and learn how to speak the language

Acctually a couple answers apply, I look for them when I dont understand what is being said and sometimes Cds dont come with lyrics so thats when you have to look on line. It would really be nice if on the booklet they wrote a couple lines about the meaning of the song and the inspirations for it. :-)
Hey Sami, it obviously depends on the song but I think for most songs the lyrics are very important because they give a real meaning to the song. They give a song its own identity rather than just some beats and tunes all sounding the same.
Hugs for you.

This was hard to answer, I don't have to read the booklet or any website because I can understand the lyrics just fine.
