3 more points will definitely do it and only 1 more could possibly do it but the maths dictate that Hull could win all their 3 games and we would go down. Unlikely as that is, 3 more points would make that impossible and that is what we must strive for.
Providing we do stay up which seems very likely now, we must strengthen the squad for next season and also completely change our tactics.
Playing 4-5-1 and achieving 0-0 draws are all well and good in preserving our PL place but the the standard of football has been very poor with our goal scoring nothing short of pathetic.
I agree with Mick McCarthy's tactics during this latter part of the season as our PL place has to be saved no matter how we do it but next season, a complete change of tactics please Mick!
Hopefully Mick and his scouting team have already identified the players we will need and amongst those players will be skilful midfield players who can prise open defences and a striker who can score consistently regardless of our formation.
Needless to say, the current squad will need to be trimmed dramatically with those players not of PL standard released and the younger inexperienced players with a good future loaned out to gain playing experience elsewhere.
This season has been one long struggle and no Wolves fan expected anything less but hopefully we have learned a lot of lessons from our experience this time around and will make a far better impression next season.
    Up the Wolves!
