I strong think that trailing commission should't be paid. Just picking 5 star rated MF from any website and asking the investor to buy it and at the end calling it as great service doesn't make sense at all.

I think, in case of 'Direct' investment, the trail commision should be paid to investor rather than pocketed by AMC.

No lunch is free My dear. Do you think the commission earned by the local kiranNawala is justified ? Do you think the fee charged by your doctor / lawyer / CA is justified ? Do you think the commission charged by Big bazaar, Fresh, More , Shoppers stop, is justified ? Do you think that Arrow shirt or some other branded shirt is justified in charging Rs 1500 for a shirt when a similar shirt is available at Rs 350 ? Do you think the fee charged by AB, SRK, Sachin to endorse a product & for which you are paying, is justified ?
Do you think an actor, who is perhaps not eve a graduate, is justified in charging a Cr for a movie and have several residences, cars, Girlfriends, when you are higher qualified than him and fund him by buying a ticket for his movie ?
Just because some MF agents like some Insurance agents, have fooled their clients, don't lynch the whole community
