Honestly i like them both. I am glad AUDI is finally making an attempt at giving the public a taste of what Audi can do. They have dominated the la Mans 24 hour races winning multiple times with the R10 and now attempting with the new R15. The R8, sharing the R title, is a taste of what AUDI engineering, the problem is that they struggle making it for a price. I can see the Germans in lab coats wanting to put the best of the best in a car and then finding that no one can afford what they have just made and having to back off and think like businessmen. So for me it comes down to what can a car give me for the price. As i have grown and matured price is more of a factor as i learn how much people make and realize i will have to get what i can afford. So when it comes down to it Lamborghini gives an absolutely stunning car for less money. The Gallardo to my little knowledge is a little slower in the quarter mile and Lamborghini doesn't have the pedigree that Audi has, but they have something else. Everyone knows Lamborghini. You don't just buy a car for $200,000 you by a Lamborghini and lets face it if you are buying a car for that much money part of it is to make others feel like mere mortals as you pass then on the interstate. If you tell someone you have a Lamborghini you don't have to explain anything. But if you tell someone you have an Audi you then have to explain it is not for your wife and that it is not a mediocre luxury Sudan and then you would have to list a bunch of numbers that no one would really understand anyway. So for me i would take the Lamborghini but the best part is you don't have to agree with me.
