No offense to Cleveland or the state of Ohio, but the NBA along with many of their strategic partners would like nothing better than to see Lebron in a major market ( - preferably NY or LA, however Chicago, Boston and the like will suffice as well - ) where they can collectively showcase their products to a larger and more affluent customer base.
Lebron's unique value proposition as a mega-star increases exponentially once he is relocated from Cleveland; realistically, it's unlikely that he will resign with the Cav's.
