Mind Trick definitely gets my vote. Yoshi tech skill? Unseen and unheard of! It is an amazing video, good intro, and VERY consistent, there were only like 5-6 clips for a 3 minute video. I also have to say the egg turn arounds on the edge were awesome.

Although I do have to give props to Ganon on Ice, very entertaining to watch. The moonwalk -> jump/waveland -> triple edge cancels? Couldn't get enough of that!

Mind trick's Jurrasic parkour is better than the others by a long shot. That video has my vote without a doubt.

Voted for Mind Trick's blue yoshi

Really Original (altho Atlus was good in that way too), consistent and funny to see something else than falcos, foxs and falcons.
Also I didn't know you could set the camera below the water o.0

Btw "Voted for Jurassic Parkour..way too good for an American Yoshi", Mind Trick is an European (Dutchie)

Mind-trick's, Jurassic Parkour, definitely gets me vote.

Although Deathgazer showed very consistent shine game in his video, pyronecrophilliac, there wasn't much else to sustain itself further to revive my vote. Falco's shine game presented only incorporated wave dashing and a dair here and there, for the most part. Some may say the multi-shining was crazy, but compared to fox's it's quite mediocre when done in succession; while standing still.

Mind-trick showed a nice mastery of his character, Yoshi, in pretty much all areas of play. Not only does he show off a move or two with him like Deathgazer, but practically goes through his hole move-set with ease. Jurassic Parkour created a nice atmosphere and had a pretty intimate, eye catching, creative, and if not nostalgic to some, opening and a nice finish too. While, on the other hand, pyronecrophilliac had an abrupt opening; piled with loud music and shines, and ending midway through the video; having the song finish the remainder of the video (which is very sloppy for not editing that out, imo).

Lastly, there were several other falco submissions that had simply blown away his performance of tech skill, such as: the winner, Atlus's 'Crazy Little Jungle Bird', L's 'Mediocrity at its Finest!', and StriCNYN3's 'Viper, to name a few.

Overall, there were a few nice submissions I'd like to make notice such as: lesser known, The Prime's 'Valkyrie' and most notoriously, Bizzaro Flame's 'Ganon on Ice".

Great job to all those who have participated though; I play Falco and Yoshi in melee and hope that my insight will enlighten you all to better-well pick a second winner for the contest! =)
*Future contests would be tight too, Waffle!! =D*

anyone ever seen sophie's choice? trying to pick between jurassic parkour and ganon on ice was like that.

improving was also very entertaining to me for what it was. not the best display of tech skill obviously since he just shows a few moves with multiple characters, but it was the most enjoyable to me besides the afformentioned two. i hope people don't overlook it :D

Jurassic Parkour was RIDICULOUS. I laughed sooo hard at Yoshi under Japes. And I almost cried at Great Bay. Yoshi is so cute when wavelanding 3080984 times in his Story. Faved.

I liked a lot of them.

I was impressed by Pyronecrophilliac, and while it might be argued that it had the single most difficult tech, the overall consistency of the video is important too. The whole video was very good, and a few parts were amazing. A waveland is not terribly difficult to do, but done in such amazing consistency for such a long period of time on yoshi's story makes it amazingg.

Voted for Jurassic Parkour..way too good for an American Yoshi.

well i was impressed by Bizzaro Flame, Deathgazer and Mindtrick.

Bizzaro gets extra points becasue its ganon and making him move like that is hard times.

Deathgazer consistently does crazy tech and tbh its not only consistant, its very difficult.

Mindtrick is probably the most consistant and the most fun to watch, but i wonder about the difficulty =o.

so imo, basing it on tech skill i gotta go with...

    DEATHGAZER!

I agree even though it is a falco vid Pyronecrophilliac does have the most difficult tech skill. It has my vote

  • Professor Pro - 14 years ago

Pyronecrophilliac shows the most difficult tech skill to perform by far which is why it instantly gets my vote....since it's a tech skill competition.
