I really think most people are afraid to admit they mess up last election and voted for an administration who can not read let alone to understand the word illegal itself. It is a shame we have all those lawyers in Washington who failed reading, writing and plain old understanding the United States Constitution. I think the new law is just as it should be, I am amazed it took so long for them to wake up, they treat Americans horrible if they catch us so much as running a red light in Mexico, yet they come across the border without papers, & use the system we have to help U.S citizens who need help, maybe that is the reason California is broke & cannot take care of U.S citizens in financila need, How many Illegals are on welfare ? This law was to long in coming. I am all for it if they come across the border in a legal manor & become citizens, but only then.

834b. (a) Every law enforcement agency in California shall fully cooperate with the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service regarding any person who is arrested if he or she is suspected of being present in the United States in violation of federal immigration laws.
