Cupcakes are a sinful treat and do not have fruit in them!!!!

here is what I got when I googled the differenfce between cupcakes and muffins.
"a cupcake really is like a miniature cake: light in weight, sweet, and often covered with icing and decorations. It's always made with white flour as far as I know. A muffin is significantly heavier in texture and also in weight; with its cohesiveness, it can contain fruit, nuts or chocolate chips, which are not common in cupcakes. It is never iced and need not be particularly sweet."
Shawna and Allie are spot on. Cupcakes have frosting, muffins do not.
I totally agree with Shawna! That's exactly what I was thinking! These look too delish to top with powdered sugar or icing or frosting. Muffin all the way.
If it don't have frostin', it ain't a cupcake!
