Should Obama take charge of responding to the oil spill?

    No, I don't believe we should. mainly because the government does not have the trained personnel, the equipment, nor the expertise to handle something like this.. The Oil companies have the equipment and expertise that is required, and it should be up to them to sort it out. i appreciate it is a mess, and will take some trial and error and a lot of luck, but at least they have the access and even if BP alone doesn't have all the equipment, the other Oil outfits will and will make it available. The government's role here should be to keep the Oil companies feet to the fire and help out with any red tape etc, but the job and responsibility is not the taxpayers nor the governments..

    NO! NO.! NO! Fed take control. Listen to the news, They want to raise the Oil tax to cover their costs.

    FOR GOD'S SAKE, WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
