you do not showcase your marquee players in an environment they cannot put on their best show. When major players get hurt due to inclement playing surface; the league will never be back in cold weather. The good news - the local fans will get tickets at below market prices because they are the only ones foolish enough and drunk enough to go to a game that is frigid. All this to watch teams from outside their areas play.

The Giants are Football Royalty. The Jets are the reason the leagues merged. The NY stage should have been utilized for the SB out of respect for the Mara Family years ago. Football is a sport meant to be played in the elements. And hey, who in their right mind would pass up a trip to NYC any time of year.......Great choice!

It will be a big economic boom for the city with hotel rooms, restaurants, theater tickets, museums, transportation, and everything else that will benefit from several hundred thousand new visitors.
