An intriging title that is short and easy to read and an illustration that leaves you wanting to see more will entice readers to open the cover and flip throught the pages. Don't give it all away on the cover. If the preview tells the whole story why see the movie. Build to an awsome climax....but start with something that leaves a question in the mind....create curiousity.

Trouble with Dragons -- (What trouble?) The Mysterious Egg of Talamazoo (Talamazoo???) The Unextinct Egg (What's Unextint?) Egg from the Mythic Moutain (From where?)........

I say "The Adventures of the Unruly Dragon" ... I think stating the dragon is a problem child is too harsh for terminology and may turn possible buyers away. However, I get your point, you want to state the dragon is no angel child . It is tough without knowing the dialogue of the whole story .

I am wondering if you are giving too much away on the cover. Just an idea but "kind of a drag" or maybe if the character had a name use that ( like "Horton hatches the egg" doesn't say anything about an elephant) egg-special or I really like Dragon Tales but that is a tv show name. Good Luck and Congratulations you do beautiful work.

I wish I could read the whole story to help with the title, but how about something like What Was Really In The Egg?
