It would have been interesting to include a checkoff for Mac OS X users to compare system performance with one another and with various Windows iterations....

"5 minutes" got votes? Really? Wow, and I though I'd be at the slower end of the stick with my 40-second-booting 512 MB Pentium 4. Hooray for Ubuntu Lucid!

5.35 minutes on my pc - I think this is not too bad comparing with my friends computers. But on the other hand, they have serious issues, I only have a few (tracking cookies, few loggers, etc).

23.29 seconds on ubuntu 10.04 (found using bootchart), 2 GHz core 2 duo, 2 GB ram.
Soluto's clock stops when the last autostart program ends loading and I think most people votes are unrealistic clocking till they see the login screen.

2.5 minutes on win xpsp3
1.0 minute on open SUSE 11.2
1.73 GHz Pentium M, 512 MB DDR.
Computer is HP Model p6230y running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. Has 8GB of RAM (obviously not enough), AMD Phenon II X4 180 process at 2.60Ghz.
It used to boot up quickly, but now takes forever. Very few data files reside on this computer.
I also use Soluto and LOVE IT
