Helen is an example of her fellow "journalist ...Reporters.....No knowledge of History, World Events,,over decades....It used to be that we used education as a tool to investigate..our teachers gave us tools to use to Check Facts..to LEARN...since the 70's and apparently for some..before then..we are taught ONLY what the Left Wing Professor tells us to believe .. My 90 yo grandmother and her husband could have given her a REAL history of Racism and Lies...my grandfather escaped from Russia as the soldiers came to Kill some more Jews..he was almost 12 , he has no family left ..he spent 12 long years in Argentina the only country he could stay in..he worked the tobacco fileds and waited till the Dem. FDR let him come to America... When he got to America he worked VERY hard and while making much money in his own business...he was so delighted to be in America he started hospitals and colleges and spent his entire life giving to others...whether they were the Janitor in his company or his secretary,,, My grandmother escaped from Poland befrore the War ...she and the few members of her family could tell Helen a few GOOD stories...but apparently Helen Thomas Never Bothered to hear those Experiences...or see what they have done for their neighbors, workers and students and patients around the World...Nor listen to the horrors they faced under Hitler...
Helen is an example and REASON that we everyday Americans don't Listen to them or read their words...I would be a better investigative reporter than any of the Stars in Print today...AT LEAST I AND APPARENTLY MANY OTHERS HAVE DONE OUR OWN INVESTIGATIONS and are bvery angry with each and every SLANTED

Sure--HT is mentally-diseased, but my question is for the current WH: Will you show backbone by firing her? Public and Foreign perceptions are keenly watching the WH on what it does w/ it's most championed reporter. If she stays--WH has just told Israel how it views them. Free Speech not only permits HT to make her satanic comments, but free speech permits the free response: 'May we reduce the size of your nose w/o anesthesia'?

It's not surprising to see comments on here as stupid as Helen Thomas' herself. Jews have lived in the British territory of Palestine before they gave up control of it, and the Jews that immigrated did not only come from Europe - they came from all over the world seeking freedom from constant persecution. Many, if not a majority - I'm not sure about the exact numbers - came from the Arab world itself where Jews were threatened by their Muslim counterparts since before even the WWII era. Asking Jews to leave and go back to their homelands is utterly ridiculous. Send them back to where? Iran? Where the very leader himself denies the Holocaust and hopes to kill the Jews himself. Afghanistan? Where only a single Jew remains and he encouraged his own family to leave because he feared for their lives. Arabs were also never forced from Israel, formerly Palestine - the ones that lived there were allowed to become Israeli citizens. No, I think the Arab world could do well to learn to shut the hell up on the matter. They can live without a sliver of land smaller than New Jersey so that at least there is one nation on Earth where Jews are guaranteed they will never again be persecuted as they have throughout history (and to be fair, even the US has had its fair share of Jewish persecution - that's how the second, more violent, version of the KKK got started). Hamas has declared war on Israel and not surprisingly, Israel has responded in kind to repeated attacks in the most peaceful way it knows how, a simple naval blockade to stop Hamas from gaining weapons to once again kill Israeli civilians. And don't act like Israel is the only one blocking Gaza - Egypt could allow plenty of the people there out - in fact by all reports people there are struggling to get out - it's only Egypt that keeps them forced there. So you want better conditions in Gaza? Tell some of the Arab nations to take in Gaza immigrants. A lower population would solve some of their problems. The only people I pity are the people of Gaza that want to leave but can't. The rest, those that want to stay and see Hamas in power, they deserve the conditions they got in electing a political party who's whole basis is the ultimate destruction of the Israel and the Jewish people as a whole.

What a radical idea Ms. Thomas has espoused. The Jews took that land from the Palestinians, and there has been constant war ever since. The idea of settling the issue by having them leave seems to have struck a nerve. Obviously it's because it's the simple and obvious solution, which if examined fairly, could well gain momentum.
