I have a 2GB one for my data and some small portable apps, but I need a bigger one to carry my music with me (my phone/mp3 only holds 2GB)
I carry a 2g for misc things. I also carry a 4g passworded Sandisk with U3, as well as other important apps.
I carry a 2GB with an essential set of apps and data that take up 1.2GB, leaving some room for ephemeral transfers.
I have a 16GB but I don't typically carry it around. I use it for building systems and installing apps, and it still has a lot of room for data.
