Illegal or legal. Doesn't that make the choice obvious?

of COURSE we need to pass this law.........look at the billions of dollars we're spending on ILLEGALS in this country!!! I don't have a problem with LEGAL Alians coming to this country, learning English, flying the USA Flag, working, making a better life for their families.......I DO have a problem with ILLEGALS ALIANS coming to this country, NOT learning English, flying THEIR country's flag, rioting, murdering, robbing, driving without insurance etc. I have several friends that had to wait 10 to 15 yrs to come to the USA LEGALLY, then had to wait another FOUR years for their daughter/sons to be able to come over....... BUT they did it....LEGALLY...and are PROUD USA CITIZENS now.....people the USA can be PROUD of having here. Then we have neighbors that climbed the fences walked for miles until they could get a coyote to bring them the rest of the way. They've been here now at LEAST the 7 yrs because both of their sons are "LEGAL CITIZENS????" WHY?? ...they've never uttered a word of English, they fly their Mexican flags, and don't send their 5 and 7 yr old kids to school....WHY???? if they TRULY wanted to become American citizens..you'd THINK they'd do what they could to become Americanized wouldn't you? hmmmmmm

It is ethically wrong to have this law anywhere. Racial profiling leads to harrassment of good citizens that will face problems stictly based on their physical traits. Furthermore this is a very biased poll by the wording of every choice except the "Other" option. Hence, most people that disagree with such laws have to be willing to explain and this discourages some people from answering honestly about their feelings on the matter. Therefore, it would be more fair to have an options with "Disagree with such laws anywhere."

I think this law is wrong in Arizona and wrong in every other state in the country. At best, it's intimidation and harassment to allow authorities to demand proof of citizenship on the basis of appearance. Defenders will say that it allows American citizens to simply state that they are in fact citizens, with no further inquiries. With a loophole that big, what is the point of the whole thing? It's a scare tactic to encourage people of Hispanic descent to leave the area.
