When I see the actions of this administration I feel like I'm watching a Pogo comic strip. Our own goverment is our worst enemy. When these wacky environmental regulations and union butt kissing laws were enacted, it was obvious that they would come back to bite us. At some point this empty suit (that some people call president) has to understand he can't keep voting "present like he did when he was an IL. senator.
I never want to hear a lefty loon criticize W for Kratina again. The law did not allow him to come in to N.O for 72 hrs. and by then the local and state governments had a head start on screwing everything up.

The "Great One" could have taken action right away and after two months we're still waiting!

PS, I love HotAir but enough with the lame Marco Rubio, Michelle Bachman, deep end of the pool political crap. The President has done bleep on this Oil Spill and you guys are asleep at the wheel.

    HEARTANDSOUL

I SEE OBAMA'S PROBLEM, HE HAS NEVER RESTED, THEREFORE HE CAN NEVER GET ANYTHING DONE FOR WHICH A LONG REST IS REQUIRED? MAYBE HE SHOULD JUST GO LAY DOWN FOR A WHILE, IN SOME FOREIGN COUNTRY, LIKE, OH SAY IRAN? CERTAINLY THEY CAN USE A FEW MEDIOCRE MEN?

Obama is not interested at all in anything other than the perks of the job. He said he would "never rest" until jobs were restored...he said he would "never rest" until the economy was restored.....he said he would "never rest" until the Gulf was restored. Well.....lies, lies and more lies. He is up for parties and golf and not much more. This man is a curse and an embarrassment to this great nation.

I'M SURE THERE ARE SOME VERY EXPERIENCED PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO UNDERSTAND OIL DRILLING, OIL SPILLS AND HOW TO DEAL WITH THEM. MOST OF US ARE NOT THEM, BUT WHERE ARE THEY? WHY DO WE HAVE A TEAM OF ENVIRONMENTALISTS DOWN IN THE GULF INSTEAD OF ENGINEERS AND EXPERTS IN OIL DRILLING AND ACCIDENTS?

IT LEAVES THE IMPRESSION THAT EITHER OBAMA DOES NOT KNOW THAT SUCH PEOPLE EXIST, OR HE CAN'T BE BOTHERED WITH FACTS.

I KNOW OBAMA CANNOT PERSONALLY STOP THE OIL LEAK, BUT HE COULD CERTAINLY LEAD THE CHARGE IN PLACING THE RIGHT PEOPLE ON THE GULF, AND IF NOTHING ELSE, LEAD THE CHARGE ON THE CLEAN UP IN THE GULF STATES.
AT THIS POINT IT IS RATHER IRRELEVANT WHO IS AT FAULT. WHAT IS AT ISSUE IS, WHO IS GOING TO STEP UP AND TAKE OVER THE OPERATION OF STOPPING THE LEAK? IF BP IS THE BEST PEOPLE FOR THE JOB, THEN WE NEED TO SUPPORT THEM AND CEASE WITH THE DOG AND PONY SHOWS AT THE BEHEST OF CONGRESS AND OBAMA.

OBAMA APPEARS TO HAVE, ONCE AGAIN, LOST INTEREST IN THE HORRIBLE SPILL IN THE GULF STATES, HIS ATTENTION SPAN DOES NOT SEEM TO ALLOW HIM TO STAY ON POINT. FROM A STRICLY LAYMAN'S POINT OF VIEW, HE HAS BEEN A DISMAL FAILURE IN HIS HANDLING OF THIS GULF OIL DISASTER. IF HE CANNOT OR DOES NOT WANT TO BE INVOLVED, THEN HE NEEDS TO GET OUT OF THE WAY AND TURN THE JOB OVER TO THE PRIVATE SECTOR WHO IN FACT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. SOON.

    JEANIE
