HI! This is ty. Honestly, there is a cheat to it. Only found out when i heard my wife giza complaining that the other couple raised their votes in a short span of time. I started asking I.T. experts and whoever knows how this is possible. And so, after 2 hours, i was able to get what i wanted and ask a lot of friends to help me out rack up votes. After getting to 1,043, i told all to stop and let it be. Unfortunately, wasn't able to do that and ended up with 1,044 votes.
Anyhow, Kudos to Pat Tuliao and Candy Villaroman for never giving up on this and getting whatever it takes to win this entry. You guys deserve it! WInners for that matter=) I thought that me, being an athlete, has that competitive advantage, only to realize and accept that there are others like you who have the fighting spirit in them too. I hope one day we get to bump into each other and be good friends and laugh about this matter =)
As for me, i tried to do what I can for my wife to feel happy and beautiful (being featured in a magazine). For whatever it will take me to bring you happiness Giza, i will! Hi there! We won the 2nd week’s contest.. Just to confirm to you, THERE IS NO INTERNAL CHEATING going on. During our week’s contest, We took it very seriously..we kept ourselves busy texting, calling, posting shout outs in fb, and asking help from all the people we know and even those we dont know, we also got international help.. we are glued to the site almost 24hours, and increased our efforts everytime the other couples were gaining votes ahead from us.
Imagine during the last day, since we were in a hotel with no free wifi (heritage hotel), we even bought 3 sun usbs just to monitor the poll because the votes are extremely close.. Our week’s contest started the WEHEARTATTACK because “aatakihin na talaga kami sa puso kakahabol.”
So i think with all our efforts its safe to say that yeah, we deserve it.. Rest assured that there is no INTERNAL CHEATING GOING ON.
One vote per one comp or ip address, so if you have a way to change your ip address hundred of times, then its all up to you..
Just to help you, if it says “THANK YOU FOR VOTING” then your vote has been counted but if it says “THANK YOU WE HAVE ALREADY COUNTED YOUR VOTE” then that means your ip address or comp has already been used for voting..

Hi Giza and everyone else here! I just logged on and was so surprised by everything that's been posted here. Craziness. I just felt that I had to post a comment since some people were insinuating that it me and my husband had something to do with cheating. If you look at my facebook page, I was always tagged in the posts promoting the contest, but not once did I publish a post asking people to vote.In another wedsite that I am a part of, I may have published the feature and just said that if they feel that my wedding has inspired them in any way during their planning, then feel free to vote for me. I never coerced them or acted "desperate" in any way whatsoever. I'm not being defensive by writing this. I just felt I had to defend myself (and my husband). My suppliers may have been campaiging for my wedding, but I think this is their prerogative. I have never even asked them to publish anything on their pages. MY husband and I are both doctors and the truth is my husband has never even read what I wrote nor seen the polls. He hasn't even voted yet. (Although I'll make sure that he votes tonight) That's how busy we are.
It's sad that something that was created to bring inspiration to other couples has become like this. I truly wish you guys the best of luck. The other two weddings (Giza and Tyrone's and Pam and Bojo's ) were beautiful and deserve to win as well.

Lala. Although Ty said he cheated, from what I can tell, the only 'cheat' he performed was asking friends and friends of friends to vote for him. There's no cheap, it's simple logic, the more people you ask to vote for you from different computers, the more votes you get.
I'm not saying that Ty didn't cheat, just that from what he said above, it seems within reasonable voting parameters.

HI! This is ty. Honestly, there is a cheat to it. Only found out when i heard my wife giza complaining that the other couple raised their votes in a short span of time. I started asking I.T. experts and whoever knows how this is possible. And so, after 2 hours, i was able to get what i wanted and ask a lot of friends to help me out rack up votes. After getting to 1,043, i told all to stop and let it be. Unfortunately, wasn't able to do that and ended up with 1,044 votes.
Anyhow, Kudos to Pat Tuliao and Candy Villaroman for never giving up on this and getting whatever it takes to win this entry. You guys deserve it! WInners for that matter=) I thought that me, being an athlete, has that competitive advantage, only to realize and accept that there are others like you who have the fighting spirit in them too. I hope one day we get to bump into each other and be good friends and laugh about this matter =)
As for me, i tried to do what I can for my wife to feel happy and beautiful (being featured in a magazine). For whatever it will take me to bring you happiness Giza, i will! Sorry, that i was not able to finish the line and win it for you this time. Nonetheless, i hope i have proven to you that i love you so much and for what its worth, you are what i want and you are all i need to live my life. It's so easy to cheat on polldaddy ... simple hit ctrl+shift+del on firefox and reload the page, then you can vote again ... its already too obvious with the cheating going on with the poll leader ... imagine from 300 votes to 2100+ votes in the span of 5 hours .. What's wrong with you?? spent all your money on the wedding till 1000 pesos is worth cheating for? LAME! I wonder who among the two thought of the idea .. definitely worth making a poll to see who cheats over the other in their marriage
This is all quite amusing, I think people are far too quick to yell 'cheat'. We've seen huge spikes in votes for Giza and Candy. Has anyone actually noticed how many YMs are flying around, how many posts on FB and twitter have been made and the fact that other countries around the world are starting to wake up. ,US, UK, they're all getting involved for their friends. Lets not allow bitterness and accusations to ruin a legitimate battle.

Wow! This is indeed crazy. What was supposed to be a happy environment (we are talking about beautiful weddings) became a warfare of foul language and display of arrogant behaviour. How sad that people even dragged others down basing it on what I call superficial beauty. I, too, have to defend my clients Patrick and Candy. They are the sweetest (pun intended) couple who had a beautiful wedding or else, I, together with their respected and highly esteemed suppliers in the wedding industry would not write about their wedding. Theirs is a wedding filled with exquisite details and fun memories – of which soon-to-wed couples could get inspiration from.

Hi there! We won the 2nd week’s contest.. Just to confirm to you, THERE IS NO INTERNAL CHEATING going on. During our week’s contest, We took it very seriously..we kept ourselves busy texting, calling, posting shout outs in fb, and asking help from all the people we know and even those we dont know, we also got international help.. we are glued to the site almost 24hours, and increased our efforts everytime the other couples were gaining votes ahead from us.
Imagine during the last day, since we were in a hotel with no free wifi (heritage hotel), we even bought 3 sun usbs just to monitor the poll because the votes are extremely close.. Our week’s contest started the WEHEARTATTACK because “aatakihin na talaga kami sa puso kakahabol.”
So i think with all our efforts its safe to say that yeah, we deserve it.. Rest assured that there is no INTERNAL CHEATING GOING ON.
One vote per one comp or ip address, so if you have a way to change your ip address hundred of times, then its all up to you..
Just to help you, if it says “THANK YOU FOR VOTING” then your vote has been counted but if it says “THANK YOU WE HAVE ALREADY COUNTED YOUR VOTE” then that means your ip address or comp has already been used for voting..

Hi Giza and everyone else here! I just logged on and was so surprised by everything that's been posted here. Craziness. I just felt that I had to post a comment since some people were insinuating that it me and my husband had something to do with cheating. If you look at my facebook page, I was always tagged in the posts promoting the contest, but not once did I publish a post asking people to vote.In another wedsite that I am a part of, I may have published the feature and just said that if they feel that my wedding has inspired them in any way during their planning, then feel free to vote for me. I never coerced them or acted "desperate" in any way whatsoever. I'm not being defensive by writing this. I just felt I had to defend myself (and my husband). My suppliers may have been campaiging for my wedding, but I think this is their prerogative. I have never even asked them to publish anything on their pages. MY husband and I are both doctors and the truth is my husband has never even read what I wrote nor seen the polls. He hasn't even voted yet. (Although I'll make sure that he votes tonight) That's how busy we are.
It's sad that something that was created to bring inspiration to other couples has become like this. I truly wish you guys the best of luck. The other two weddings (Giza and Tyrone's and Pam and Bojo's ) were beautiful and deserve to win as well.
