I can see that they couldn't come back and just fall into each other's arms, but without a spoonful of sugar to help the medicine go down (i.e. a hint that better things are coming), this is just another depressing spin on an already depressed show. HH thinks comedy is the number one draw? Then he must be planning this season to be 'Bones' last because I can't remember when we had a light-hearted episode. If Booth is moving on and Brennan is fine with it, what was the whole point of a year apart?
