Immigration is controlled by the Federal Government according to the constitution. The states have no rights in this area no matter how much they hate the way the government deals with ilegals. The best way is to give them amnesty which President Reagan with ten million illegals and President Bush tried to give amnesty but the congress refused. Preesident Obama has a program to give them amnesty, but it is doubtful he can get it passed by congress at this time.

THE FEDS REFUSE TO SEAL THE BORDERS OR EVEN ATTEMPT TO PROTECT US FROM AN INVASION OF ILLEGALS, SO THE STATES MUST DO IT THEMSELVES. OBAMA IS JUST PANDERING TO THE HISPANIC VOTE AND CARES ONLY FOR HIS OWN TWISTED AMBITIONS. HOPEFULLY HE WILL BE GONE SOON, AND THIS COUNTRY CAN GET BACK ON TRACK TO THE ONCE PROUD NATION OF EUROPEAN CHRISTIAN TRADITIONS. Why isn't it racial profiling when the Haitians wash ashore and we ID them and round them up to get sent back and the Cubans get a gift card and a free pass? The Feds should do their job or let Arizona do it.

Doesn't the Democratic controlled Justice Dept have other more important problems to address than wasting their resources and my taxpayer money to cater to Mexican Americans hoping that they favor Democratic Candidates in the future?
I don't think much of the previous Republican Administration either, that is why I am Independent

I have to show ID to police and don't mind, and at the airports. We are rewarding people for breaking the law. Our parents had to legally enter this country, and so should others. They outstay there visitor passports, or don't even have a passport. What about the drugs, the crime and other safety US interests. Close the borders, stop feeling sorry for illegals, who DO NOT pay taxes - they live off society. Do they pay school tax, medical/dental, city and county taxes - not for the benefits they get. Start feeling sorry for the American Worker who can't get a job because of them, of the people paying taxes for their children, which are many to go to school, feel sorry for the people paying their medical bills, and all the free benefits they get . Go Arizona !
