Although I believe every program is needed and appreciated, my favorite program is Operation USO Care Package. I think it's the only program that can truly reach every single one of our troops. No matter how remote a little piece of home can make it to them and they can keep that reminder with them. Also, each package has a phone card so if not too, too remote they can talk to those back at home.
I have been volunteering with this program for years and have heard the feedback. I'm very proud to be a supporter.

At Christmastime during our last deployment, our local USO had children's DVD's available for units to request. We got a decent selection of titles and had some of the ladies from the FRG come out and wrap them up. We handed them out at our Unit Holiday party and the kids went nuts, they were so excited to have a little something to open. Everyone had a great time and it really added to overall event. This is definatey not something that we could have done without the support of our local USO and we are greatful for everything they do to support Soldiers and Families. Mahalo!!
