I think since the Emergency room is commonly used for non-emergent visit these days, prescription refills, everyday sore throats, aches and pains, symptoms that a Primary doctor should be able to see, waiting times for true emergencys has increased. If the ER were only used for true emergencies, broken bones, chest pains, severe illnesses waits in our local emergency rooms would not be so long.

I had a Kidney stone back in august but i made to wait in the ER for 3 hrs before someone saw me , all this while i was in great pain . when i was finally seen , the nurses were rude to me and they diognosed me with a pulled muscle . even though i knew it was not a pulled muscle . when i released from the hospital , a few hours later i passed a kidney stone . i was really upset with how they treated me and diognosed me . wont ever go back again . above it all , they screwed up on billing so much that now i am stuck trying to correct thier errors .
