Electric vehicles should be taken out of the pool, they are way older.
It's far from being something new.

wifi is NOT the most important. Data transfer over EMS is not new. Its been there since the 30s.
Mobile technology is an INCREMENTAL product and NOT fundamentally changing. So are the hybrid cars and electric vehicles.
the most important thing is the GPS. It is almost taken for granted!

On the surface it seems like Mobile phones, smart phones are the most important technology in the last 10 years. However I voted on Hybrid/Electric cars because this technology will impact ALL of us so deeply and for the future of mankind. Though this technology and those like it are just at the beginning, there is nothing that will impact our lives more that health, safetly, and basic life necessities.
