So, could you stay seriously romantically involved with someone who didn't care about food the way you do?

No. That's way too important to me.

I've tried and it hasn't worked out.

I've tried and we figured out a way.

It's not that big a deal to me. We'd work it out.

I couldn't even start a relationship with someone who didn't care about food.

I don't care about food at all. It wouldn't even come into play.

I coudn't date someone who'd let my not caring about food get in the way.

I care very much and I wouldn't stop trying to change their mind, but not a dealbreaker.
