I voted for Rob because I like him. Who set down the vampire guidelines? Are they carved in stone somewhere? Ms. Meyer can do what she wants. That's why it's fiction. I am not a teeny bopper but my daughter was one when this first thing started out. Mr. Pattinson is charming, witty and self-effacing. And, if you take off all that white goo, well, hot. I like Kate Beckinsale but I've seen a lot of her films including the Underworld ones and she's just not that much of a standout for me. Actually I think it's funny how everyone gets into pissing matches over these things as I'm sure very few of the people involved give a rat's ass.

Ok people i was sitting and reading some of the comments that people have written and i think it is so funny. If you dont like Twilight then fine no one is forcing you to like it. everyone has their own opinions and that is what makes us different. the world would be a boring place if every one thought alike. I personally like Rob Pattinson as a Singer. I happen to think he was perfect for the role of Edward in Twilight. Some people like horror vampire movies, some like the more classic vampire movies, and some like the vampire movies with romance. This happens to be the best Romantic vampire movie there is. I am by far a teeny bopper. But i will have to say that i am hooked on twilight because i am a person that like romance. lots of people have never really experiences true romance so they tend to down people when they like romatic movies. "thoughts"... please, learn to spell, i got a headache trying to figure out what you were saying, and that is a lot more annoying than your rant... but, let me respond to some of your "ideas": I HAVE read the books, and i liked them the first time i read them, because it's a ROMANTIC STORY, not a vampire story, i accept that, then, the second time i read them, i was like "WTF! edward is soooo annoying!!!" yes, i accept i liked him the first time i read him, but it's because it caused an impression, real guys aren't like that... and the second time i read it, i was actually grateful that real guys are not like that. Then they got robert pattinson to play him, and he lost any remaining interest i could have in him, to be honest, i think he was really cute when he was in Goblet of Fire, but i don't know what happened, probably he just grew up, but he definitely not even half as cute as he was back then.

Seriously? One of them glitters in sunlight, the other can take down a pack of angry vampires and werewolves in skin tight latex and leather, even the other monsters have a thing for Selene.
As a concept, I prefer Twilight Vamps to any other, as they are more powerful and have no weakness, if they could fly like in queen of the damned, that would be perfect. But seeing as selene is a girl in latex, is now a super hybrid vamp/werewolf, and is generally very cool (she shoots holes in ceilings instead of using elevators, id say Selene wins. If she was just a vamp tho, id go for edward, you pm dont lose your human life (imagine if lost boys were as hard to kill and immune to sunlight - party all day and night), and the cullens would be a great bunch to hang out with, and who knows, if you get turned by a twilight vamp, you could win the vampire lottery and get telekinesis or something awesome.
