I love both Damon and Angel but I'm going to have to go with Damon. Angel was and is one of the best vampires ever.....but who is sexier? I'll have to go with Damon. Damon is not only EXTREMELY hot, but he is the bad boy hiding his softer side, which just makes him even more sexy.

love angel, but damon wins hands down. people say damon is copying angelus? damon as a character was created before BtVS even started to air. it's based on a book series, people. so if anyone's copying, it's BtVS. (and i don't think anyone's copying at all. having a vamp bad/good guy ≠ copying)
ian somerhalder is walking, talking sex and the only thing that's possibly hotter than he is is damon salvatore. and that's mostly because he's a vampire.

Angel All The Way - lets face it the whole vampire genre took a new turn thanks to David's portrayal of Angel and Angelus - and although I love Damon I see too much of Angelus in him for it not to be an influencing factor in both the writing and acting of the charactor - besides David is always hot - if Ian can look as good in his next role at the same age then maybe we can talk ...

Damon is definitely the sexiest beast here and I love how Ian Somerhalder portrays him and makes Damon his own (it's a known fact that one of the directors said in an interview that the "eye thing" that Damon does is an Ian thing that the writers incorporated into the character!)
And to Selin, who has said that Damon is evil, that's not completely true. Have you watched all of season 1 of The Vampire Diaries? I can assure you that Damon may start out as being "evil" in the very beginning, but it's his way of covering up who he really is; hiding from his own humanity because as vampire by nature, it's his only way of knowing. It's during the course of the season that you begin to see his humanity surface (especially in the season finale, when he wanted to save Anna, but wasn't able to and he felt bad about that, and it showed when he went to tell Jeremy what happened and they had their talk about the 'switch' and being able to turn off their feelings), which Elena really helps to bring out. The producers also said that in the seasons to come, it's Damon's humanity that is hidden deep inside that he will be struggling with along with the vampiric nature that he has only known.

Damon is evil, but Angel has both sides to suit anyones pleasure, whether they are attracted to the ultimate evil badboy Angelus, or to the brooding, guilt-ridden Angel. And even in his early 40's, playing Agent Seely Booth on Bones, he is STILL awesome!!!

Yes Angel was out there way before Damon...and I love him...but Ian Somerhader that plays Damon is just perfekt for the roll...if ever a person was ment to play a roll...it was this matchup...Ian is Damon...and Damon is just SO SO SO sexy...com on...it´s sexy beasts were voting on...and whos the beastiest beast here???...Angel is sweet for the most of times (Angelus...not so muth) Damon on the other hand is the perfect balance between evil and steamy hot hottness...and it doesn´t hurt that Ian is the most beautiful man on earth eather...on the outside as well as in (have you seen his comitment to the oilspill katastrofy...and that´s just the begining of wath he stands for) Whitch make´s him all tha more amaising in my eye´s...
