Our purpose is to uphold the blessings of liberty, equality, and justice on which the Republican Party and the government are founded, in accordance with the Constitution of the United States and the State of Florida.
The purpose and responsibility of the Committee is to:
Put simply, we are the G.O.P. (Get Out and Push) of the Republican party and we need your help.
Wow, seems hard to make the case that it's "bi-partisan" when the evidence shows that Dems, and Progressives are paying for it! Just because uninformed voters don't do their own homework and vote for something, doesn't make it "bi-partisan"...it just means more of the same short-sighted idiocy.
"it got financial help from groups aligned with Democrats, including attorneys and unions such as the Florida Education Association. The group also received $25,000 from Florida ACORN in 2007."

"ACORN gave $25,000 in 2007 to start this Partisan Effort at redistricting. Not only has ACORN funneled money to this effort but also several high profile Democrats have been sending money that way."

"What do you get when you cross two organizations - one sleazy, the other corrupt? Answer: A new redistricting scheme for Florida called FairDistrictsFlorida.org!
According to Sunday’s Orlando Sentinel, some of Florida’s top trial lawyers (whose lobby arm admitted to sending out a racist mailer) in a Florida senate race) and ACORN (enough said) have teamed up to try to seize the Florida legislature from the Republicans. Since they can’t seem to win at the ballot box, they’re spending big $$ to influence the redistricting process, hiding behind the veil of nonpartisanship of course. That act has grown so old even the mainstream media smirks these days, with the Sentinel reporting that 'Democrats and left-leaning groups have done the heavy financial lifting so far.'"

Voter - 2 years ago
I join with the more than 1.7 million voters (Republicans, Democrats, and Independents) who signed on to support FairDistricts Amendments 5 & 6. It was not STARTED by ACORN as falsely stated by this poll and website. It was STARTED by FairDistrictsFlorida.org a non-partisan group for Floridians. For the first time, AMENDMENTS 5 & 6 will bring about true change we need in our state. I hope people will do their research and vote based on the facts and the truth behind these amendments.
So On November 2, 2010....VOTE YES ON AMENDMENTS 5&6.....
Florida Voter - 2 years ago
This poll is giving wrong information to the public. FairDistrictsFlorida was NOT started by ACORN, but by citizens of the State of Florida. Amendments 5 and 6 were placed on the ballot by voters who signed 1.7 million petitions because they want to put power back in the hands of the people to select their representatives. This is a non-partisan effort supported by leaders on both sides of the aisle and many non-partisan organizations. It is only incumbent politicians who oppose this effort because they do not want to loose thier power to draw district lines to benefit themselves and their parties. The people of Florida want to change our current broken system of redistricting and will vote YES on Amendments 5 and 6 this November!
