What do you think of the actions by the JetBlue flight attendant who got fed up and walked off the job?

I don't blame him one bit...Some people can be very rude, and demand too much...the flight attendents are there to help you, not to take a lot of bull, and back talk from anyone...GOOD FOR HIM.....

Its about time someones takes a stand against rude people. I think he is a hero, and no one is addressing the fact that the rude passenger said nasty four letter words to him, and then konked him on the head with baggage! The employers allow their employees to be mistreated, and never back up the employee. This a prime example of of being given a job with authority ( flight attendent) and the so called authority is not backed up, and the unruly people really call the shots. I am sure he didn't act impulsively, but thus was his last straw!!

Everytime you land at an airport people always get up before the plane comes to a full stop which is stupid so its about time someone took these people to task. Just sit in your sit til plane comes to a full stop cause you can't go anywhere till everyone in front of you moves anyway.

    John,
I respectively disagree, I believe Jet Blue even acknowledged that noone was at risk. However, I don't think he should be anyones hero. He obviously was an unhappy employee who decided to take a very unusual way out of his job. It just so happens that what he's done has landed him legally in hotwater due to the type of work he does. I do hope that he gets the help he needs and pays whatever legal debt he owes. But I don't think he ever really put anyone in danger. The plane had already docked at the airport terminal and passengers were getting ready to disembark.
I also think this is getting far to much media attention, but then so does every odd story these days.

I can't believe so many are voting for "I don't blame him" and "I'm not sure".
This man seriously threatened the PUBLIC SAFETY on that plane!

Good for him! Flight attendants have to tolerate too many rude passengers who think rules don't apply to them. After 28 years, he could write a best-selling book about his experiences.
