I voted no because I think letting your child sleep as late as he wants on weekends is more about giving the thumbs-up to laziness and self-indulgence than helping him catch up on sleep. Once he is away from home then he can sleep whenever he wants. While he is at home and part of a family living together, it's important for family harmony and self-discipline that he is in bed and out of bed within limits that work for the entire family.
