When you make a mistake, how actively do you admit it and resolve it?

I'll admit the mistake to those directly affected and seek a joint solution.

I own up publicly and let others know how I'm fixing things.

I'll take care of the issue myself without saying anything to others.

I'll let it pass and hope it isn't a big enough issue for others to notice.
